They'd been searching for months. Months. So of course, of course the day after Arthur had argued with his father over the logic of still searching, he stumbled over her. Almost literally.
"Yes. We." Arthur shuffles closer, still maintaining more distance than he would have preferred.
He'd much rather shake her. Or hug her. Get her to Guinevere and safety and away from this place before anyone else gets funny ideas about stealing Morgana again.
"Morgana, you were kidnapped. We weren't going to allow someone to take you like that."
"Speak sense, Morgana. No one tried to murder you." Arthur frowns. He's used to her anger, but the abruptness of it makes his head spin. "You were unconscious and stolen right in front of us."
Morgana pushes herself up, crouching, either to run, or attack and either is a possibility. Although, she's seriously thinking of punching him for accusing her of speaking nonsense.
"I was dying, because of what was done to me. Are you blind, or as stupid as I always thought?" That's not entirely true but if he's going to insult her --
"I wasn't in the room!" He hadn't been. He'd been off fighting the undead, Morgana. It wasn't his choice idea of activities when it meant leaving you, Merlin and his father to an uncertain fate and he had barely been able to stand as it were.
"I had to save all of you, Morgana. Not just him."
He frowned. "I rejected nothing. Had father died..." Arthur would have done what he must. Not that he liked the prospect of it. He would have done what was best for Camelot. It wasn't even a question.
"We all had been in danger. What would you have had me do?"
"You do not know anything that happened, do you?" As always, Arthur's left in the dark of everything, though it's not just Uther, but also Arthur's dog who is hiding truths.
"I came just in time to see you taken, Morgana." It's as close to admitting to his cluelessness as he ever gets. Arthur hates, hates, hates that people hide things from him. He isn't as stupid as everyone thinks he is, but he'd be better if his people TOLD HIM things. "All I know is you've been missing for over a month only to have you show up almost at our gates."

"But no, you cannot permit me to be kidnapped." Maybe they could not allow her to be saved.

That's enough to bring back the rage. "You had to save your father. Why did you reject being king!"
She'd thought that was to happen, yet it didn't. Remove Uther, and replace with Arthur, but no, nothing changed.
